Social Justice

Equity in Action

At Kyetume, we believe justice is more than a principle—it’s a path to real, lasting change. From ensuring maternal health access for rural women to fighting child labor and land rights injustices, we turn justice into tangible progress for Uganda’s most marginalized communities.

Livelihoods & Economic Justice

We break cycles of poverty by training women and youth in market-relevant entrepreneurship skills, expanding access to financial services, and challenging gender barriers to economic participation.

Education as Liberation

We promote inclusive education by providing scholarships for orphans and vulnerable children, running vocational programs for youth, and advocating for equitable and learner-friendly school environments—while actively fighting child labor and other forms of exploitation.

Health Equity

We reduce health disparities by mobilizing community health workers, providing maternal health services in underserved areas, and addressing stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS.

Grassroots Advocacy

We empower communities to claim their rights, participate in decision-making, and hold duty-bearers accountable. Our advocacy work spans access to education, health, economic opportunity, and land rights for the most vulnerable.
