Bajja Basaaga (meaning they come jokingly) is a women group consisting of HIV positive women and young mothers. These women meet together to make traditional accessories such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, belts and bags out of paper, barkcloth and beads. All the proceeds from the sale of this merchandise goes directly back to the group, empowering these vulnerable women not only to lift up themselves, but also their families and communities.
